A great sequel that added in a bit of supernatural flavour without letting it overwhelm the book
I loved this mystery featuring the Brontë sisters.

The second in the Brontē Mysteries and it is very good. This one has some supernatural element to it. Again the three sisters, along with their brother try to find out who the bones were and what happened to the person. It is well written and an easy read. Plus a lovely cover!
I just got #bookmail and so happy! I loved the first one. This cover is gorgeous!
As a fan of the Brontë sisters, getting to read a book that presents them as sleuthing detectives in an eerie, gothic mystery was a real treat. I like the way Ellis cleverly weaves facts of their lives with an exciting fictional plot and it was revealed at a satisfying pace and also kept you guessing, even about small details and loose ends, right up until the end.

I love this series where the Bronte sisters investigate murders, hauntings, & other dark occurrences.

This is the second book of th Bronte sisters and another good read. The mystery was clever and had me guessing until close to the end when I figured it out. I love the atmosphere that's created though the book. The plot is steady and builds to a brilliant conclusion. The writing is well done and so decriptive. You can easily picture the wildness of the location. A brilliant thriller with dark themes. I love the Bronte sisters. #Netgalley 4*
I ❤️ this series. The author brings the Bronte sisters to life with her writing. The second book takes a much darker turn than the first. Also I found myself noting the names & places that would be immortalised in their books. 5🌟
Thanks to NetGalley & publishers, Hodder & Stoughton, for the opportunity to read an ARC. #NetGalley
Second book in the Bronte sister's mystery series and this is equally as good as the first. Having just read the afterword the author has once again wound fact and fiction seamlessly and her love for this family flows on the page.
I guessed the 'whodunit' early on in the book but it was the why and how that really interested me so my enjoyment wasn't ruined by this.
Recommended series.
