Jo by Kathleen Gros is 100% a book I would bring in to my future classroom. It is such a fun take on a classic story and would be great for a recommendation for parents to read with their kids. I loved the inclusion of technology and modern day problems into a tale that was written long ago. The siblings fight in a way that I feel kids can relate to these days.

This book was such a fun adaptation of little women. This new take on a classic story really brings in elements of current day technology and behaviors. Creating it in comic format makes it more accessible for a lot of people. Each character has a specific look that relates to the classic story. The updated illustrations create a whole new take on the story.

This book talks about a lot of modern day things in school today. This page is discussing, each others pronouns which is cool because not a lot of books do that.

I love this because I love Halloween and love to chose a character that I just love or who I feel like I am the most of!

I love how one of the main focuses for this book is the simple yet important background and setting!

I love this! A comic series about modern day little women, with a twist. It has the same base line but very different from the original!

“so we can write whatever we want, as long as it‘s on the topic we picked?” this reminds me of how graphica works, you can write and draw about anything you want and make it your own

There were a lot of dark hues and shadows throughout this graphica and also a lot of bright colors.

The panels were almost all the same size and side by side so it made it easy to read. The words were in a big and fun font so younger children could read it as well. I think it‘s a great book for 4th-5th graders.

This graphic novel is so sweet! A little bit too saccharine perhaps, but you know what? I'm totally okay with that. Also: GAY JO MARCH! 😍 This is the Little Women adaptation I never knew I needed! 😃👍💕📚 Chaplin gives it a thumbs up (paws up?) as well! 😸 #catsoflitsy #littenkitten #chaplin
