So we reach the final book in the series, this is set on a boat sailing down the Nile. Daisy and Hazel with their friends and Hazel's family too, set out to investigate the crime committed on the boat. I have really enjoyed the whole series, there are a couple of short stories collections. The author will be starting a new series with one of Hazel's sisters.
This is an account of the last murder mystery the Detective Society will ever solve together.

The last in the series...I don‘t want it to be over 🥲 Daisy and Hazel are in Egypt cruising along the Nile. Get ready for a mysterious society, murder and intrigue, danger is everywhere and only one makes it home alive 🥲
The author has a craft for creating complex characters and relationships.
We‘ve been with Hazel and Daisy from the beginning and now they are teenagers...a great series for middle graders and big kids like me 🤣
The last one in the series to read 🥲
In today‘s #podcast host Caroline Crampton talks with Robin Stevens about her final book in the ‘Murder Most Unladylike‘ series and how she retraced Christie‘s journey on the Nile to create it. #NFN2020
The 9th and final book in Robin Stevens‘s MURDER MOST UNLADYLIKE SERIES for children aged 9+ is a suitable send-off to the Wong and Wells detective duo. We know from the start that one girl won‘t survive but their friendship remains front and centre even as they both get some romance and Hazel resolves her relationship with her father and sisters. I‘ll miss this series but am looking forward to new adventures with Hazel‘s sister May.
So. Not the strongest book in the series, but I did love the concept of the Death on the Nile homage even if I didn‘t like the resolution (which I could see coming a mile off). A shame but it doesn‘t make the series any less fun.
Uh oh. The last book in the series is here...
