I finally finished this book last week after numerous attempts over the last few months. There‘s a lot going on in this book- timeline changes, side stories of minor characters, and twists that (too) neatly wrap up the story.
I am nearly 100 pages in, and I notice that I have to force myself to sit down and read. It‘s not that it‘s bad; it‘s just boring.
There‘s not a lot of Litsy love for this book, but I‘m going to give it a try.
Well I enjoyed this much more than many Littens. I was tricked x 3! @Betty and I both enjoyed this! I took her advice and didn't read the teaser in back- I just jumped right in! ❤️📚❤️
This wasn't a "bad" book & I did "enjoy" it - mainly for the ritual & relaxation aspects of reading rather than the plot/suspense/character development. However, it did frustrate & annoy me almost to the point of fury. SO FORMULAIC! SO UNORIGINAL! SO PREDICTABLE! Argh - the same 'feel', the same tension, the same structure, pacing, methods ... a thriller by numbers. And yet I do get sucked into the build up - mostly hoping it ... cont. in comments
#TBRtemptation post 3! Called an addictive thriller. Emily Coleman has a happy marriage, a beautiful family, a lovely home, so what makes her get up one morning and leave it all? Emily becomes Cat, working at a hip London advertising agency with Angel, her inseparable new friend. But she can't avoid the par forever, and she'll have to face what she's done. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
#ONE of my favorite books. I couldn't figure out what the title meant until at the end of the book, then it was an "a ha!" moment. #NovemberbytheNumbers
Book club book of the month, and totally enjoying part of my first #amazondashbutton #surprisesweetsbox. This stuff is to die for! #artisanaltreats #sweetsandbooks
I enjoyed this one a lot. I did kind of guess the twist, but the author does a great job of throwing lots of possibilities. Fast, never dull read.
