I received this YA book as an ARC but didn't get to it before it was published. It read like a mix between Yoon's Frankly In Love (Thai culture dating expectations from a female POV instead of Korean male) × Han's All The Boys I've Loved Before trilogy (strong sister bonds) × 80s-90s RomComs. Not Earth shattering, friends to enemies to fake dating trope, but I enjoyed experiencing life from another culture within the covers.

I really enjoyed this book. I listened to the audiobook and had so many laugh out loud moments. I love the whole fake dating and this book had a lot of it. The Tech sisters aren‘t allowed to date in high school. But when Winnie‘s parents change their mind she is so excited. Until she finds out who they picked. Mat her once best friend now enemy. I loved Mat and Winnie and didn‘t want their story to end.
