A reread for #Scarathlon. 😳 While I loved all of the references to MACBETH,
it was sometimes difficult to take the journey with the hero in this novel. Why? Well, the hero is a sociopath for one, and even though she‘s justified in what she does, it makes for a blood-gripping ride. I couldn‘t put it down, but I didn‘t walk away with any human-condition idea to make me a better person. ⬇️

Well this starts out subtle...LOL
I admit though, this book may be too much for me to handle but I'm going to try. At the very least, I love the concept of revenge. Oh yes, yes I do.

Girl power is in this book in spades and in all the darkest ways imaginable.

I respect what this book was trying to do but it was not for me.

Too much like real life. I started reading this thinking it would have been a loose re-telling of Macbeth. It still might be, if Macbeth had anything to do with Rape, Violence. Still, two of the characters are Dunc and Malcolm.
