For #pridemonth2020, I'm highlighting 30 openly LGBTQ+ authors. June Jordan was a poet, essayist, teacher, and activist who self-identitied as bisexual. In her work, she advocated for and used Black English, and frequently explored issues of gender, race, immigration, and representation.
