I had way more fun with the visual storytelling and turn-the-book text gimmick than with the fairly schmaltzy message and somewhat cliche/confused narrative. I think I would look for other Santat picture books for that pictures alone.

Best inclusion of a back of book barcode in the cover art I've seen in a while. 😁
Another two great books were found at the dollar tree. Keep your eyes open the next time you shop at the dollar tree. Happy Reading!!!
#BoundTogetherJune Day 19: “Are We There Yet” is the most dreaded question on a #RoadTrip. The title alone says everything, as most parents, uncles, or anyone who has taken care of a child in a long #RoadTrip can attest: hearing these words repeated ad infinitum can drive even the most patient adult up a wall. My review of this humorous story here: https://wp.me/pDlzr-eGW
I'm so stressed out with work that I've hardly read anything for 2 weeks. Working in retail at Christmas time is not great for ones reading or stress levels. Can't wait for it to all be over.
This would be a great read for summer around road trip season though the toddler doesn't yet vocalize boredom like this 🙌 the format involves flipping the book a couple of times, and the illustrations are great! There are some time travel daydreams with fun details for readers a bit older. #babyreads #roadtrip #travel #picturebooks
Happy Tuesday!
Just wanted to let you all know that I'm working on the photo challenge for March and hope to post it by the end of the week! I know there are many more challenges on Litsy this year so thanks for taking part in mine! 💕

This book is awesome. It's an innovative look at a road trip. It's not just a trip to grandmas house but through time as well. I even love the QR code in the middle of the story. The layout, design, and illustrations are spot and and refreshing.
