This is a very in-depth and frankly chilling telling of the murder of eight Chicago nursing students.

Mehso-so

Extensive documentation of the multiple homocide of 8 nurses by Richard Speck in Chicago in the 1950s. Pictured is the survivor with the state attorney and her police protection.
Major flaw of the book is that the state attorney cowrote it, but narration is done in the 3rd person.

Pickpick

Despite the overly colorful and descriptive language, which made me feel like I was reading fiction at times, this was a great book. I had never heard of this case, and it‘s as grotesque and strange as Speck himself. The complexity of the American legal system is also astounding, all those formalities must cost a fortune.

There's a lot of great ebook deals today-this one is $1.99. I don't know why but true crime stories usually fascinate me.

melbeautyandbooks I am fascinated by them too! 8y
