A pretty perfect YA novel featuring my favorite type of YA characters: good, smart kids. They reminded me of some of the characters in the show Never Have I Ever. I loved it!

This is a reread before the next book following Rowan and Neil comes out in a couple weeks. I love this one - it‘s a unique setup and the characters feel like real people.
I read this time anticipating the next book, which took away from it a bit, but that‘s more on me than the book itself. I still think it‘s a very top teen romance read!
"But what I'll never understand is why people are so quick to trash this one thing that‘s always been for women first."
I love the heroine's love of romances.
"The truth of it was that I'd probably never have the kind of luck with love the women who live in fictional seaside towns do."
This book was so NOT cringe and genuinely sweet and endearing!❤️
A sweet YA friends to lovers romance that takes place over about 24 hours and will make you want to visit Seattle. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
How adorable was this? I already love her adult romance novels, but was super pleased to discover that her YA is just as sweet. I thoroughly enjoyed this one, about two high school rivals figuring out they might actually like (or love??) each other... on the very last day before graduation. The commentary in defence of the romance genre was a big added bonus! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Prompt: The Kissing Booth
So many of my kryptonite tropes! God I love Rowan and Neil and their obsessions with besting each other that absolutely aren't masking their massive crushes on one another. And the romance novel vindication! Just so good. #yalit

I very rarely read books set in high schools, but Solomon has been continually impressing me this year, and this book was no different.
The whole book takes place over 24 hours - Rowan & Neil‘s last day of high school - and the pacing was perfectly done.
Definitely the best teen romance I‘ve read - ever? - at least in recent memory. Highly recommend.
Such a cute Enemies To Lovers tale. Rowen and Neil have competed for the best grades, awards, and titles all through high school. Now on the night before graduation they are teaming up to take down the rest of the senior class in a grade wide scavenger hunt. And they are… enjoying hanging out?? What? And you‘ll enjoy hanging out with them too 🥳
This is a clever and fun teen romantic comedy, that is also a love letter to the city of Seattle. The characters are well developed and so enjoyable. I really enjoyed this one...4/5 stars.
UGH YES!!! 🦋 Giddy feelings galore. Love the emphasis on and inclusion of Jewish tradition. The story highlights change, growth, friendship, understanding, and hilarious witty banter. Definitely recommend
“My vision of a real writer is someone who haunts coffee shops and wears chunky sweaters and says things like, ‘I can‘t; I‘m on a deadline.‘ Most of my writing happens late at night, sitting in bed with my laptop warming my thighs.”
F8nished this last week. A very cute YA enemies to lovers that takes place on the last day and night of high school. Two rivals decide to work together during the senior game of Howl in order for one of them to win when they find out a group is trying to take them both down. But in working together they find out more about each other and realize they have more in common than just wanting to be #1. An enjoyable listen.
A cute and fun YA romance. Rowan and Neil have competed with each other through all of high school to be the best, and now it‘s the last day of high school. Will they be able to confront their feelings during the seniors‘ scavenger hunt before graduation?
I didn't expect to like this at all. I definitely wouldn't have read it if it hadn't been a pick for #barnesandnoble #YAbookclub. But I'm glad I did; I loved it! An enemies to lovers YA book that takes place over the course of the last day of high school, from finding which of the rivals made valedictorian to trying to win the senior scavenger hunt all around Seattle.
A perfect day for sitting out on the patio with a cup of tea and a new book ✨📖☕️

Have you guys checked out my new video? I discuss some of my favorite series over the years ❤️also just started this YA book for Once Upon A Book Club and I like it so far!

This was my first Once Upon a Book Club shipment. I really did love the story, but I had issues with the moral climate. If a lot of swearing and some casual sex don‘t bother you in a YA novel, then it‘s a great read. The story stuck with me for days. ❤️ But I‘d steer clear of it if that stuff is bothersome to you like it is for me. A for the story, C overall.
A ya romance enemies to lovers. I really liked the characters and their motivations. Plus the scavenger hunt was very fun to read.
Enemies to lovers in YA. Sex positive. Fanboys/fangirls.
I loved this one! Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and this story didn‘t disappoint. There was a lot of humor and sarcasm mixed in with moments of sweetness and I just loved it. It really did remind me of a YA version of The Hating Game (which I also loved 😂). Whenever I find a book that I love, I always wonder what happens to the characters after the story is over and in this case, I‘m really wondering what happens!

Excited to start my July Once Upon a Book Club read. #WhenInsomniaStrikes
This has been one of my most antipacted book of the year and it was so GOOD!!!!! An enemies to lovers book. Rowan and Neil have been rivels since high school started both wanting to be valedictorian. When Neil is named valedictorian Rowan knows that now she has to win the howl the senior games. But when she finds out that her classmates want to take her and Neil out of the game they decided to work together. Does she really hate Neil after all?
I have been enjoying this YA romance about Rowan, an aspiring romance novel writer, and her high school rival Neil.
It”s the last day of Senior year & while it did not start off well for Rowan, she knows she‘ll get the ultimate victory when she is named class valedictorian in today‘s assembly. When Neil is declared valedictorian instead, she knows she has to win Howl, the senior class scavenger hunt and the last thing they‘ll ever compete for.
I want Anne Halen to be a thing.
