My October pick for #12Booksof2023. Another great Star Wars audiobook.

This is my first novel in the new Star Wars universe and it was a bloated nightmare of a book. There were too many characters, too many pov changes, half the time I wasn't sure who was who. It felt more like a jumping point for other books which would focus on the characters

I liked how different characters viewed the force, that was nice to see. Some of the characters were great and the plot was interesting, there was just too much

I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this series so I went into this first book with minimal expectations and was really pleasantly surprised! It's a great start to a new Star Wars saga and the action is intense and exciting throughout the whole book - I liked it a lot! #catsoflitsy #littenkitten #rumpel

Purchased it outright just so I didn't have to wait on the library when it was released. XD This was a little hard to get into for me, a few too many characters and POV switches early on, but it was a very interesting problem/set-up, and I looooved all the diverse jedi and apprentices we got. An excellent and promising setup to this new High Republic era. Also, audiobook, I will never be tired of the music/sound effects. Delightful. 👌👌 #starwars

Ive already broke my women authors already goal😬. In my defense though, I bought it cuz I‘ve been waiting soooo long for it to come out so I‘m not counting it as a breaking If it‘s pre-ordered.

Having spent the afternoon reading, I can tell you this book starts fast and just keeps going. It‘s really good so far and I‘m excited to see where the story goes.

Soule's comics are great so I can't wait to read this new novel

If you guys are interested the first chapter was made available to read today! I just finished and now I‘m soooo excited. This sounds so exciting and filled with Jedi 😍oh and....WOOKIE JEDI (need I say more??)
