The Costa del Sol is a place for sleepy pensionados. So sleepy that the people don‘t even leave their villas to swim or play tennis. Crime is the only stimulus they still respond to. So that‘s the business model to reactivate the communities. When his brother confesses to murder, Charles travels here to investigate. But he is so fucking stupid. This book is so annoying, but I couldn‘t stop reading. Mixed feelings. #1001books

This is my absolute pet peeve. Write in your books, highlight your books, crack your spines, live in those pages. But don‘t you be putting stickers on my freaking books! š�š¤¬š�š¤¬ Especially the kind that don‘t come off easily! I love ThriftBooks but I hate their stickers!

Way too many books on my TBR this month. All for buddyreads, #Readaroundtheworld, #Pop18 and #Booked2018. I might skip the three books I selected for the #MarchMadnessChallenge as I have the feeling it has died down a bit?

JenP I will say that people are still reading all the books. Last Day is May 15. I will be posting an update on the blog I‘m a few days. But, I‘d say that if you did okay in your cbs picks that you should keep reading if you want to win the prize. I have been getting at least one update every day from people reading. @BarbaraBB 7y

BarbaraBB @JenP I don‘t think I did okay š‰ but I don‘t know how the others did and that‘s why it is less fun, I think. It would be nice to compare! But I know that you are very busy with work and have probably no time to post updates! š 7y

JenP @BarbaraBB the cbs page has all the rankings. If you log in there is a tab that says ā€standingsā€¯ and you can see how everyone else did and compare your own score to everyone. It only has the picks but will give you a sense of which people will be most likely to be reading their books (edited) 7y
