A little Icelandic crime fiction for #nordicnoirnovember! This one had a bit of a slow start but it‘s starting to pick up!

This is my first Nordic noir book. It is also the first crime book I‘ve read that takes place in Iceland. I have to say that I quite enjoyed it. I thought the author did a great job weaving the story together and giving enough information and left things up for interpretation. There are a few questions I have that aren‘t answered but that‘s kind of the beauty of this book!
So far, I‘m really enjoying this one! I must say this is my first delve into the Nordic noir genre and I am really pleased. It‘s quite atmospheric and the characters are dynamic but I also don‘t feel like I‘m getting too many unnecessary personal details about them.
Great book! Enough original twists and turns to keep it interesting from first to last page.
I really enjoyed this! A great mystery- more of a slow burn than a fast-paced thriller. I enjoyed Elma and Sævar's dynamic. I hope there is more to come in this series soon!
Book mail is the best mail! I got some goodies from Orenda and can‘t wait to dive in! These are all #nordicnoir 😊
Doing some Friday night reading while Felix keeps me company... I guess we match today! 😂
