I finished the short story for #noplacelikeholmes.

I didn‘t realize that it was already time to read the next short story for #noplacelikeholmes but I just looked at the reading schedule that I took a screenshot of and saved to my photos in my phone and it is time. I‘m glad I saved the schedule. I don‘t know how long it‘ll take for me to read this short story. I can‘t believe we‘re almost done reading the canon but I‘m glad we‘re doing it together and that I‘m not doing it by myself.

I just finished the short story that I was supposed to read for #noplacelikeholmes.

I started the short story I didn‘t read last week for #noplacelikeholmes. I started it last night before bed. I‘m almost done. I have chapters 6 and 7 and the epilogue to read now. While listening to the short story, I finished a Cross stitch picture I started and then colored these pictures on some color by number apps I have.

I need to read this week‘s short story from Sherlock Holmes for the #noplacelikeholmes readalong. I haven‘t read it yet because I was busy downloading my Kindle books from Amazon but I‘m done doing that. I started on Wednesday and I finished downloading at 4 AM on Saturday. I have 3,000+ books so it took forever and I didn‘t feel like dealing with it but I didn‘t want to lose my ebooks. I got finished before February 26.

I finally read Part 1 of this week‘s short story. I didn‘t realize that it was already time to start on it. I enjoyed the first part of this story but it took me longer to get through it because there were 7 chapters to listen to and they‘re not short chapters either. I think the chapters are about 20 or 30 minutes long. I started this first part yesterday and only had the last chapter to listen to today. Now, I‘m caught up.

I‘ve gotten a lot of points this week just from doing the #wordsearch for #hauntedshelf, counting the 1 hour of reading for the #noplacelikeholmes readalong and counting the spooky or autumn reads. It‘s a lot to track and keep up with and I‘m also reading Netgalley ARCs. During #scarathlon last year, using the Autofill feature saved me a lot of time when I was filling in my spreadsheet all month so I‘m definitely using Autofill again.

I‘m reading Never Lie by Freida McFadden right now but I‘m not going to get finished with it before the end of the month so I‘ll finish it next month. I had a lot going on over the weekend so I didn‘t have time to read anything and I‘m too tired tonight.

I didn‘t get to participate in today‘s discussion because I went out to lunch today with my mom, my brother, my sister in law, my mom‘s boyfriend and his youngest daughter to celebrate our July birthdays. Then my mom and I went back home and I decided to take a nap for the rest of the afternoon. I‘m tired.

For #weeklyfavorites, my favorite book this week is Silver Blaze which is this week‘s short story for the #noplacelikeholmes readalong. I started another book called Beneath A Scarlet Sky but I‘ll finish it in June. It‘s a WWII book set in Italy and it‘s based on a true story. I am enjoying it but it‘s intense and it‘s long.

I finished this week‘s short story “Silver Blaze” for the #noplacelikeholmes readalong. I‘m ready for our discussion. I listened while playing Cookie Jam on my phone. I finally got my game progress to sync between my phone and my tablet. All I had to do was update my software on my phone and tablet. I‘ve been playing for years. I‘m on level 1229. I refuse to go back to the beginning especially when it took me years of playing to get this far.

Here‘s what I have on my May TBR. I have the 3 Sherlock Holmes stories I‘ll be reading for the #noplacelikeholmes readalong. I have 2 #bookspin books. The only #bookspin book that‘s not on here is a mood read and I don‘t know what to choose for that. I don‘t have any #readyourkindle books on my list. I‘m waiting for the numbers to be drawn for that. I‘m continuing with my acronym/color coding system. That‘s been working out well for me.

I‘m currently participating in the #noplacelikeholmes readalong hosted by @dabbe and @Cuilin . They‘re doing such a good job hosting this. Everyone is welcome. If you‘re interested, feel free to join in and participate in the discussions at any time. I‘ve been enjoying reading these stories in between reading other books. I think it would be too much if I tried to read all of the stories at once so I‘m taking my time.

I did the word puzzles this week for the short story that I read for the #noplacelikeholmes readalong. I used my new stylus pen to write. I‘m not used to writing with it yet but I liked writing with it. I have a hand tremor. I‘ve had it my whole life and it makes handwriting difficult. It makes my handwriting kind of sloppy. Maybe using my stylus pen will help with my hand tremor. It seems like my hand tremor stops when I rest my hand on my leg.
