Cute. It‘s like a middle aged Sookie Stackhouse series. Fun, will continue series, even if the MC let out SEVERAL breaths she didn‘t realize she was holding.

My attention span is at an all time low but I keep buying books. Audible BOGO sale got me today.
I‘m not sure how I feel about this one. I‘m not much for the paranormal. It was entertaining and funny at times. Not sure I‘m crazy about the main character. Maybe she‘ll grow on me. This is the first of several books in this series. I might read the next one but I‘m gonna a need a break from it for now. Two in a row is too much.
❤️
Definitely continuing this series. Enjoyed the humor, the supernaturals, and main characters. The changing viewpoints were a nice way to see what was at stake.
Reading the tagged. Like the other two pictured, a very humorous read. There seems to be a theme to my New Year‘s reading so far. Apparently I‘m in the mood for witches, magic, hijinks and humor. 😂 So far I can see continuing each series.
“He's a vampire--you know how they are. Bite first, ask questions later.“
I absolutely loved the humor in this. And I also loved that the main character wasn't young or in shape for a change. It also made a lot of great points about being a woman, and middle aged. I loved the uniqueness of this. It might be the 1st story I've read with a gargoyle as a character and I've read a fair amount of fantasy. So many cool parts! I definitely might be tempted to read more in this series.
A hilarious mix of midlife woes, sarcasm and magical mayhem. The messages K.F. Breene sends are loud and clear. Do not let people ridicule you just because your body isn‘t perfect, or life didn‘t work out quite how you thought it would. This is a book geared towards women later in life. For once the heroine isn‘t an athletic built young twenty something. #fantasy
