I‘m definitely enjoying this series, and the narrator is typically really good. Except for the face that she very occasionally mispronunciations words. For example, she pronounces macabre “macCABBra” 🤦🏻♀️ Otherwise it‘s a really enjoyable series!

I love Juliet Blackwell‘s audiobooks, especially when they‘re narrated by Xe Sands! This was another banger, and it made running my errands go by much quicker than they usually would. 🖤 +3 for #TeamSlaughter

This prompt made me think of this book which I recently finished. Many fashions from the 1700s to 1800s contained poison (arsenic). Getting dressed every day could literally kill you. ☠️

This book is part of a witchy mystery series I read. This might be the best one yet. Also fits for my #SeriesRead challenge with @TheSpineView
Finally getting a moment to sit down and read. 🤓

This is a book in the cozy mystery series about Lily Ivory, a witch who sells vintage clothing and always seems to end up in the middle of a murder investigation. I usually like these stories, but was a bit frustrated by this one bc it took the characters FOREVER to figure out how the murder was committed even though it was super obvious. Nonetheless I like the group of characters in this book and the sweet twist at the end.
The problem with reading all the available books in a series you like one after the other is that when there are no more left, you have to wait until spring 2018 for the new book. Argh!!! In this book, alongside a murder by poison, we get a little hint of the oncoming witchy storm Lily and Aidan are going to need to fight.
I was just thinking tonight about how it was #CharlaineHarris and #SookieStackhouse that first led me down the path to cozy mysteries. It was a spin-off from the romances I usually read, but now they take up a not insignificant portion of my bookshelf real estate. Like the other books in the #WitchcraftMystery series, A Toxic Trousseau is a quick read with fun & quirky characters. 💜
Time for something totally fluffy, but this is the one that earns me this sweet bumper sticker for 10 books read so far this summer!
