I didn't even need to refer to the book to come up with this idea. I'm super proud of me! Good thing because the rest of the family is disgusted with me today. (the feeling is mutual... although I tried to apologize & make up)
I'm definitely hooked on this candle making process. I've added this book to my wish list since the library won't let me keep their book. 😆
I used up all the small bottles of oil, the rest of the Orange Sweet, & a splash of Germ Fighter to equal a 1/4 cup. Check out the cut glass container that I picked up at Salvation Army last week. 🕯
2nd time making candles ~ such fun and easy when pouring into jars 🕯
Yesterday, I taught myself how to make jar candles. I'm pleased with my initial results. My ultimate goal was to be able to create candles for use when power is out. These would need to be placed on or in front of a mirror to increase the area that they illuminate for that purpose. However, for the cost, I'll definitely be able to enjoy candles more often so I may simply make them for fun.
