Today‘s Audible deal of the day. I really liked this book (my review is in the previous post under the tagged book) when I read it last year for the #readingeurope challenge. This book worked for both #Serbia and #Croatia (and I believe several more).

Pickpick

A black-ops trained killer is framed and imprisoned. Out to seek “justice” when he is released, he teams up with one of the quirkiest characters I‘ve read in ages. It sounds quite rote, right? Nope, despite all the death, it‘s an endearing and touching novel that‘s very well written and hard to put down. Maybe best read of the year so far. Highly recommended. #readingeurope2020 #spain. Also would work for #Croatia

Texreader @GingerAntics It‘s his best one. It‘s his most recent so obviously his skills keep improving. It was free not long ago. If you hold out a freebie may roll around again soon. 5y
GingerAntics Sure, I missed a free book. How did this happen?! lol I have it on my wish list. My luck, as soon as I break down and buy it, the next week it will come up free again. lol 5y

Next up for #readingeurope2020 #spain

Part of Amazon summary:

Former CIA officer paid the ultimate price for his patriotism when he was locked up in a French jail for an anti-terror operation gone wrong

Now he is shattered by the news that his ex-wife has been killed in a terrorist attack in Spain. He also discovers that his young son, Ethan, is missing. Why was Rachel in Spain? And why did she keep his son secret from him?

GingerAntics I may have to check out this book after reading that quote you just dropped. 5y
