The second reading room in the #HawthorneInn is the library. They have book editions in here dating back to the 1800s! 😱😱😱😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 There's a window seat right behind the chesterfield.

Very comfy. We love it!

I think you may want to book this place should you be visiting Concord, this town steeped in literary history. The center of the transcendentalism movement! Every bibliophile's dream town!

So...I have a lot from today that I'd like to share. I don't want to overload your feed though, but I can't help it 🙈--at least you all appreciate it. Almost all literary related, I swear ☺️.

Tonight, we're staying at the #HawthorneInn in Concord, Mass. It's situated on Nathaniel Hawthorne's former property as was surveyed three(!!!) times by Thoreau. This b&b has been in operation for over 40 years!

I fell in love with Nathaniel Hawthorne from reading the tales in this book. My copy is so battered and worn. I highly recommend The Artist of the Beautiful. Hawthorne's beautiful piece of transcendentalism.
