Explain to me how I can see and hold a book one day and the next it has disappeared as completely as if it never existed in my house. (These are just a couple of the stacks where it isn't.)

Thought-provoking, if a bit dry. It certainly makes you think about the written word differently, in an age where self-publishing means anyone can be a writer. This is a good book for a die-hard book nerd who stills weeps for the fate of the Library at Alexandria, but I doubt a more casual reader could stick with it.
Watching the Rose Bowl Parade and this book/reading float came on screen. Had to show the UPS sponsored float! Good job Littens who shipped books this past December!!!
"A sepulcher of possible authors, a catafalque of contradictory texts: the Bible is a library, but one in ruins."
Random poll: who else gets anxiety when friends ask to borrow their books? ?? Call me cynical, but I've had SO MANY books disappear over the years after being "borrowed" that it always makes me nervous. Also, #USEABOOKMARK!
@BookBabe , our critical book shipment has arrived ?! I don't think it was too much of an oversight to take @Liberty & @rebeccaschinsky 's podcast title--"All the Books"--so seriously, right? ???????
