All of these cheesy Hallmark/Lifetime worthy Christmas movies are on Netflix. None of them were good or even very entertaining, so I used them mostly as background noise for doing chores and/or reading. At least they checked off a bunch of bingo squares.

If you are like me, I jumped on Hallmark Now to try and catch some holiday movies. I found the selection lacking. I stumbled upon this streaming service that not only has Hallmark movies on-demand but allows you to DVR movies. These were my picks for today.

Watched another Hallmark movie, “Christmas Waltz”. +5 #MerryReaders #WinterGames2020

Just finished the movie. It was definitely Hallmark-y but it very accurately showed a lot of what Operation Homefront does (see logo in the background), from collecting toys, to helping vets, to rehabbing and giving homes to veterans. And they really do keying ceremonies like here, sometimes with celebrities turning over the key to the vets and their families. #holidaymovie

When you have “connections” you get an advanced dvd (a screening copy) of the movie I missed over the weekend. Hallmark teamed with charity Operation Homefront, which aids veterans returning home from service, for this movie. Watching it now. Cool! Main character is volunteering for Operation Homefront. #holidaymovie
