And again, this is how it looks like when the students get to know Mrs Wolff‘s recommendation of the month. 😊

I finished this one in the bathtub yesterday. The problem of grandkids not wanting to visit because they seem to be boring is one most grandparents can relate to, but the this granny does cope with it in a very peculiar way. What a nice story. 🦹♀️🦹♀️🦹♀️
The moment the Queen catches you in the act of stealing the Crown jewels - in her nightgown and Corgy slippers. 🤣🤣🤣
This is a cute and fun Grandma and grandson story, includes the Queen and the biggest robbery ever done. Even though it's a children's book, this one goes straight to a grwon-ups heart. 3/4 of the book are the fun part, but at the end Walliams also talks about death and letting go. Important lessons for our young readers.

A story of how we perceive and treat the elderly.
And suddenly she‘s become a book worm - huzzah
Any last comments on my Gangsta Granny post from the kids at my school would be greatly appreciated, going to be showing it to them soon, so only about an hour left to put any new comments on. They‘d love to hear from you!!! #encouragereading #doitforthekids
Some students I work with have written a blurb about the book they are halfway through reading. They‘d love to see how many likes and comments they could get about their review so please take a read! 💖
“Gangsta Granny is funny, she is hilarious,” she steals all the jewels. We can‘t wait to read the ending, you will really like it, so please read it.”
Look what Auntie Dixie and I have! This is Bueller, son of @lizzlehuff and he is 5 lbs of royal fun. Next up, grammie is gonna teach him to read. #DogsOfLitsy

This book seriously caught me off guards. It filled up laughters and surprisingly, tears too. Benny truly reminded me of myself sometimes, for being impatient and impolite young brat; and as Grandma, I somehow saw my own mother in her.
One of the things that make me flip the book is a majestic thing like this. I couldn't help myself to not take picture of this cotton tree.
100 years and man there she is, still standing tall and strong 😍
David Walliams has got a real gift for children's writing! Gangsta Granny was funny, interesting and touching. The story explores the relationship between grandmother and grandson which develops when granny's unlikely past is revealed. Walliams creates unique and funny characters each with their own quirks.
An easy read - fantastic for encouraging reluctant readers!
I just finished this audiobook. It ended up being a sweet and funny story about love and connection and trying to pull a jewel heist with your grandmother. The way the main character disparaged and disrespected his grandmother was super harsh in the beginning. Thankfully that narrative turned around. The stereotypical trope of the South Asian shopkeeper was unnecessary and annoying - otherwise enjoyable and funny and sweet at times.
This book is about a boy named Ben who thinks his granny is really boring. Little does he know she is an international jewel thief. This is an amazing story that weaves together important life lessons in a way that you don't see coming. Highly recommend this middle grade book.
