Final book in the series. The ending could have been a little better but i did like them.
First time in a week I have been able to read. We are all down with a virus that‘s pretty nasty right now and it‘s so bad you can‘t really focus on anything. Glad to finally be able to pick up a book again. Last week all therapy and supports were canceled, this week isn‘t looking better as the last person in the house fell to this this morning. At least it‘s a rest.
Driving in the middle of nowhere and we almost hit this baby. Zander my son was amazing and caught him after going full pelt barrel roll into Aussie scrub. He is now with a nearby farm. Zander however is rather distraught. But he saved a life
Ok, I‘m having a seriously down crappy, shitty Saturday.
We had plans to fly in and out of Melbourne on Tuesday, but now covid might blow up there we have had to cancel that flight and are praying we can go in a few weeks.
But that‘s left three of us miserable, sad and down. This IS the best choice. We are immunocomprimised here, I can‘t afford to be quarantined in a hotel, can‘t afford getting it and being in a covid specific hospital. But...
This is the best one from the trio I think. Since it is the third book In the series I don‘t want to give too much away, but there is romance, tension, death of main characters, and maybe a cure? I think it tied up pretty well. However, there is still more to finish in 3.5.
Cole became the highlight of Forever. His character arc had an explosion of development as he struggled to become comfortable in his human skin. His life took on a new purpose and with it, Cole became someone that was damaged but fought to be a better person. A well-written redemption story will catch me every time. #youngadult #fantasy

I missed a bit too much in the first half to give it a higher rating. As usual, a better recap would have been appreciated... but then, maybe there was one and I missed it? It did pick up for me in the second half, and I paid more attention (I was listening to the audio, so that‘s always easier for me to lose focus). It‘s unfortunate I never did really figure out where Cole or Isabelle fit in, nor did I like either character very much
Not the best breakfast but my audio is 🤣Happy Galentines day!!
This series is one of my absolute favorites ❤
Even though I cried a couple times throughout all 3 books, the 3rd book's ending had me crying... hard!

Well my bookish ass kicking lasted a whole 12 days. Monday started back to school professional development and I feel consumed by all things school. Hoping to clear my mind and enjoy my last week of summer next week and hopefully knock out another book or two.

Why does every single YA book now need a three part series? Sometimes it is necessary, other times it feels very dragged out, repetitive, and completely broken in terms of pacing
.
I understand exploring the “shifting” once or twice, but then it lost the element of surprise. it became very repetitive and predictable, especially after how promising the series was described as being
Listening to the final book in the Shiver trilogy while Dresden sleeps on "my" meditation cushion. Clearly it's his now. I just live here ?

I love the way Stiefvater writes, and I have enjoyed this series immensely, but I did find myself losing interest during this last book. Still giving it a pick.
“And the fact that everyone had a story behind some mark on their insider or outside suddenly exhausted me, the gravity of all those untold pasts.”
So, UPS pulls up in front of my house. The driver tossed a package on the porch, but it hit the front door. I went outside to see what it was. I didn't remember ordering anything so, I was a little confused. Then it occurred to me. I won the book from a twitter contest. It was an awesome surprise. I can't wait to read it. #maggiestiefvater #sinner #youngadults #ireadya
Not coping, did not see the end coming?! What's coming next?! Someone pass the final book! #forever #maggiestiefvater #series #paranormalromance #addicted #notcoping
It occurred to me that there was a story behind the scar -- maybe not as dramatic as the story of my scars, but a story nonetheless -- and the fact that everyone had a story behind some mark on their inside or outside suddenly exhausted me, the gravity of all those untold pasts.
It was harder, I thought, to watch someone in pain than to be in it yourself.
