I stayed up until 5AM just to finish the ending of this book! This is my second time reading this series. The first time was over 10 years ago. I love the world these books have created! This is book two and I have already started book three today!

Expanding on the world & conflicts introduced in The Warrior Heir, this second book in the series raises the stakes while introducing new characters & complicating the ties between old characters. I‘m a sucker for magical world hidden from those just living their lives & if these books aren‘t the most well-developed example of that, they are fun & filled with characters you care about. And when each finishes, you definitely want to know more.
