Lily, a wizard, is drawn into her witch friend Sebastian‘s plan to undo an ancient curse on an old estate, one that causes anyone who lives there misfortune and eventual death. That storyline ended with an epilogue, then a whole new story started, one in which a small town was caught in a time loop, and Lily and Sebastian have to save the town. It was just a disconnect to me and took away enjoyment from the main story.

My friend hooks me up every year for my birthday. Thank you buddy, I appreciate it so much!

Thriftbooks.com haul
These are the books that were missing from the series I got at the thrift store last week. Now all three series are complete 😊

My sister surprised me recently with this super-cute Hufflepuff badger!

I needed a bit of a break from adult reading and decided to pick up an old favourite. I'll probably just reread here and there on nights I want a break from whatever book I'm reading at the time. It's such an old copy that it is called Philosopher's Stone and has 1 wand printed twice in the school list. I've read this series so many times it's ridiculous but here I am about to reread again 😆

I reread my (2nd hand) H. P. books, because I needed something familiar and comforting to accompany me through tough times. As much as I like the stories and some of the characters, I can only leave a negative review - not because of the plot holes/mistakes, but because I can't understand how someone can write characters/relationships like these and go on to spread so much hate, in a way that would make Voldemort proud.

So much more going on in here than I remembered!

How difficult it is to recognize your own worth, especially when fighting internalized and systematized prejudice, how you were raised as much as how people react to you in the present. 1/?
