I read The Handmaid‘s Tale for my bookclub and was totally fascinated by Margaret Atwood‘s language and how she instantly builds an atmosphere with her words. She does it in a couple of pieces in this collection too. These are the ones I liked best.

27 short pieces.... I though all except one was good and a few totally marvelous. Atwood's trademark dry wit, sardonic humour and inventive imagination are fully on display.
Next up.... Another one that's been languishing on my shelves for years

Well you can't really see all the notes attached to everything, but they're wonderful!! Thank you so much @UwannaPublishme !! You sent such a generous & thoughtful & fun surprise package!! I can't wait to try the cool candies & the book tracker is perfect! The bookmark is so cute, & the stuffy has already been taken by buggy 😁 I'm excited to check out the books -- I'd never even heard of that one by Atwood! Thank you!!! ♥️🥰♥️ Merry Christmas! 🎄
