Spotted some flags on my #audiowalk today. It was a beautiful day ☀️ It was a rather short walk just to clear my head after lots of packing today. The moving car is coming tomorrow morning, so everything in the apartment needs to be packed down before there will be any sleep tonight. Exhausted, it sure is tiresome to move 😴 Started the last book in the 1Q84 series, looking forward to it!

The third book ❤️❤️

Just finished chapter 1. Trying to decide if I am ready to commit.

Wow. I kinda thought i'm too stupid to read books suggested by writers or proffessors or other extremely smart people. But wow, it was a good book. Did not expect that i would like it as much as i did.

Ran out of steam. Unnecessary.

So I have a contented dog asleep at my feet. Am in my comfy chair with a book, a brandy and camera obscura playing on headphones. Not sure if I can define happiness much better.

Sadly the 3rd part of the story is very very unfulfilling. I am saying so so as a trilogy but too many open questions and unconnected leaps expected of reader. Was ultimately very disappointed

wondered how this book was to end and yes I was surprised and yes I actually wish there was more from these characters but in saying that I feel Murakami wrapped it all up perfectly and I can‘t help but wonder of it was his intention to leave the reader thinking about Aoemame and Tengo! I read this in the space of a morning / afternoon and now I must endure the book hangover. So worth it though 😨 #Murakami #bookworm #bibliophile #bookish #1q84

It is incredible the amount of history and general culture that manages the writer in this book. It would be a very good novel without the fantasy, but with it is more than excellent. Only I had problems putting Japanese faces to the characters. 1Q84 is a parallel world. 5⭐️
