Cold Weather Box Spin!!! I haven‘t heard of this author before — but willing to try this book. It‘s 155 pages 🤷🏾♀️ so this will be a quick read and fast review.

Nice little treat with my book. But I was so focused on the treat and forgot the book. Lol this will be a quick read. I found it while B&N was closing over the holidays🖤 let‘s hope the book is as good as this. #caligirl #tajin #fruit #spicysaturday
Such a gorgeous cool cover! Leonid McGill, outsider detective, in a case where he must deliver a letter containing an explosive secret. He‘s got killers on his trail and a client to protect. Prime Mosley, entertaining fast read.
Ernie was known in some circles as the Mississippi Assassin- and that was not the name of a professional wrestler.
Library reservations system working again!
This book is continuation of the Leonid McGill series. Waited five years for its release and I am looking forward to where he is taking the series. The story line is about a guy that did bad and is trying to correct some of those mistakes. He is all too human but he is trying.

I love the book but felt for a five year wait it was too short. If you know Ms. Mosley past on my disappointment in the length not the quality of the story. Gone were the babies but he add a new partner.
This is me after my long wait for the next Leonid McGill book. I considered it a book shot.
Walter Mosley never lets me down. This was an interesting story dealing a black person passing as white. The drama is when and how it becomes known. My first #ReadYourSign
#Two4Tuesday 1. I plan on participating in the #ReadYourSign for June. 2. Water is my beverage of choice when reading. @TheSpineView
Having so much trouble picking the next thing to read 😂 It‘s not like there‘s a shortage of time to relax with a book.
This was my first Walter Mosley book and it was wonderful, I loved the flow and straight forwardness of his writing and how he didn't mince words or use more then he needed to get the story put together. This is a well done story,
1.) I like to run, I have started training for the Denver 5K.
2.) Introvert most of the time. :) Extrovert on the rare blue moon. Though after all this Stay at home stuff I may be Extroverted for a LONG time!
3.) I have read as of today 10 books. Maybe even 11 if I get the tagged book read in time. Woot!

A very quick Leonid McGill case with a few other cases thrown in. At only 160pgs and half sized hardback, this little adventure was quick, to the point, and once again race was present. Mobsters, old rivalries, and a simple deliver of a letter is at the heart of this book. I‘ve only read book 2 and this one and had zero issues as Mosely catches you up when needed with a quick paragraph or two. It will only take a few hours to get through.
You know what‘s awesome? Walking into a Barnes and Noble and a random person says- “There is $5 left on this gift card and it has to be used today, do you want it?”
I got the new Walter Mosley even though it is the 7th in the series, of which I‘ve read none, because I love most of Mosley‘s books, but I‘ve never paid full price for one. I always did library sales or on sale e-books. I figured I owed him a new book buy because I am a fan.
🎉IT‘S NEW BOOK DAY!🎉 Here are some of today‘s new books! There are more out today that I am excited about but don‘t have physical copies to photograph, including Minor Feelings by Cathy Park Hong, Apartment by Teddy Wayne, Egg Drop Dead by Vivien Chien, Hood Feminism by Mikki Kendall, Go to Sleep (I Miss You) by Lucy Knisley, Aliens: Phalanx by Scott Sigler, and A Cowboy to Remember by Rebekah Weatherspoon. What are you excited to read? 📚❤️📚
The description of the audio version of the tagged book sounds great! I‘m sold!
