I have finished reading this book. While I took some notes, I still need to organize and input them into my planner so that I can work on my goals effectively. Additionally, I need to review the attached PDF materials to see if there is anything else that I need to extract from them. #SelfCareIsNotSelfish

Saw my psychiatrist today for a pre-holiday pep talk & he made me write down #holidayselfcare strategies he wants me to try. I can actually say I have Dr‘s orders to take 3-4 hrs/day away from the in-law invasion for the sake of my sanity 🤪 Hubby‘s gone to do some shopping, allowing me time to recharge before we hit the stores hard. I‘m so lucky he gets me! I‘m chilling with a #bookandtea & the oldies station. How do you deal with holiday stress?

Caroline2 Yep, I find the holidays (with all the shopping, prep & socialising) really exhausting! It‘s so important to take care of yourself. I retreat to my decompression tank (bath!) in the evening with a book for an hour. That really helps me unwind. 5y
