pickA great feel good book, and my first Debbie Macomber book, it won‘t be my last. Very well written with sone great characters and that hint of magic throughout the book. A good read for Christmas.

so-soMy second book for #bookspinbingo . I wasn't a huge fan of it, but it was okay. This is the second book in the series so I wonder if I would've like it more had I read the first.
This book also counts for #MountTBR
These didn't come out too bad but I think either the recipe has too many dry ingredients or the dough was overworked. It was quite crumbly to work with and just didn't look quite right.
The taste is ok but I think I'll stick with my go-to recipe in the future.

Starting my yearly Xmas baking.
Today, I'm trying something a bit different and making the sugar cookies from Call Me Mrs. Miracle. When I listened to it, the recipe in the book used brown sugar and I've never tried that before so I have to give it a shot and see how it goes!

pickI'm surprised that I actually enjoyed this. Corny as hell? Absolutely but a nice little feel-good story for the holidays.
I loved that the book has recipes in it that relate to the story so I might have to give some a try!
