This is a collection of interviews with Edward Gorey. Not really surprising considering the format, it was a bit repetitive. But Gorey being a quirky dude, it was nonetheless a fun read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

I have this exact story, only slightly less dramatic as my version is a large antique chandelier falling off the ceiling and not the actual ceiling.

I‘m kind of feeling depressed, lazy, and not into leaving the house, and my husband left me here home alone all day with no food and absolutely nothing to drink except for tap water from the sink and half drunk bottles of 2-week old red wine that I inherited from work events. So here I am with a book, tuna fish sandwich, a bag of smart pop, and slightly off pinot noir for lunch. I might have poptarts for dinner later. 😋

News of an Edward Gorey biography being published later this year, and a Gorey exhibition opening at the Wadsworth in Hartford has triggered an Edward Gorey kick! It‘s time I read this. It‘s been on my shelf long enough, I have no excuse!!
