The Ice Garden | 
pickThe Ice Garden is 3.5 ⭐️‘s. A young girl suffers from a rare condition that makes her severely allergic to the sun, but finds refuge in a mysterious and magical ice garden. This was a solid middle grade book about friendship, but some of the audio narration was a little annoying and it felt like the author forgot one of the characters and threw them back in at the end. Bumped it up from so-so to pick for the unique plot.
