#psychokiller #MarchIntoThe70s Zodiac claimed responsibility for 37 killings. He sent letters to the San Francisco Chronicle & other newspapers, warning of more killings in letters full of dares & cryptograms that befuddled the FBI.The film is a favorite of mine, with Ruffalo, Gyllenhaal,& Downey Jr.The film shows a lot of locations in the Bay Area, captured the look & style of the 60s into the 70s.The clothes , newsroom, smoking, and the drinking.

Lizpixie I can‘t believe they still don‘t know who he is. It‘s gonna be another Jack The Ripper if he isn‘t found soon, though they‘ve just found the Golden State Killer after the same amount of time passed. Plus the Green River killer & BTK weren‘t caught until some time had passed. 6y
AlaMich I liked this movie too, being from the Bay Area. One weird thing I remember from the movie is the house with the basement. I never saw a California basement in all the years I lived there! 6y
Leftcoastzen @AlaMich It‘s pretty rare .I lived in a house in Petaluma that was on a small ridge ,it had kind of a half basement. It needed a sump pump to keep the moisture down. 6y

AlaMich I really like Petaluma. I grew up in San Rafael. 6y
Centique I really liked this movie too! Didn‘t get enough love when it came out I reckon. 6y
ValerieAndBooks I grew up in CA myself (Sacramento area, and at the same time the East Area Rapist aka GSK was active there) and never saw a basement until I moved away! I hope they catch this one soon. @AlaMich @Leftcoastzen @Lizpixie 6y
Suet624 Oh, Petaluma. I love that town. 6y
Suet624 And I just added Zodiac to my list on Netflix! I didn‘t know about the movie or the terrific actors in it. 6y
Leftcoastzen @Suet624 I think you will like the film, think it‘s under appreciated on many levels, yes, I liked Petaluma too. 6y

After gardening for an hour and a half, showering, and eating a metric ton of Chinese food, I'm on the couch with Chico on my lap. Catching up on the latest EW issue, and there's a great article about the Zodiac killer. I'd forgotten all about him - have any of you read a book about him that you'd recommend?

asiriusreader I read Zodiac after being fascinated by the movie that came out a few years back starring Jake Gyllenhal...it was very good! 8y
asiriusreader @LauraBrook 👍🏻😊 8y
MyNamesParadise I was OBSESSED with the movie Zodiac when it came out in 2007. I even special ordered the two disc special edition DVD. There's the book Zodiac and then Zodiac Unmasked. 7y
LauraBrook @MyNamesParadise Thanks! I've got them both stacked/listed to be watched. 👍🏼 7y
