Billion Pound Lie

Home! Swimming pool got so crowded. My friend called it "human soup" and I said it's so full, the water is no longer see-through. We packed up, I brought my kids to the ex - will get them back tomorrow.

We are all looking forward to tomorrow, it's supposed to be 10° cooler - I know I will pull out a sweater although 24°C won't be cold.

Meanwhile I'm finishing this ARC. It started strong, but by midway point it has fizzed out.

#BFCR2 goals for this week have changed. The main goal is not to melt: 35°C outside, soon to be 37 or more.

On the positive side, after a two week break from physiotherapy, my therapist was on holiday, she told me today that my shoulder muscles are less tense and everything is more mobile. That's another win from #BFC Round 1.

Sipping cold tea, finishing this ARC. Funny, but the writing could be better.

LibrarianJen Stay cool! I know that‘s abnormally hot for you, however that‘s normal for me this time of year. We have been below average temp most of the year so I‘m finally starting to not feel so cold! We are forecasted at 92 (f) today!!!! 5y

CocoReads That‘s a good trick. It‘s a zillion degrees in the hospital today and I‘m running all over. Plus our forecast is for mid 80s so I get it. At least there‘s ac at home. 5y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa Yep we are in the 80‘s here too (30 C) plus the humidity is awful...tried to do a few things outside yesterday and was sweating through my shirt almost immediately. 5y

julesG @wanderinglynn Thursday is supposed to be cooler, but back into the mid-30C by Saturday. It's going to be a temperature roller-coaster ride for the next weeks. 5y

It's hot outside. Unfortunately, it's very warm inside too. Where does Madame #GhostCat decide to sleep? I've already placed her onto the sofa next to me twice. She glares at me and climbs back onto my lap. 😼
