#top10summer2023reads Thanks @youneverarrived for the tag. I've limited it to 5 because I can't work out how to do 10 but these were 5 really good reads over the summer of which 3 are by favourite writers whose bks are always anticipated (Moss, Ashworth, Levy) + the other 2 were new exciting novels (firerush+ spell of good things). Summer, for me, is overwhelming growth to beat back, air that can be so humid it's hard to breathe, and non-stop interaction at work.

My package arrived safe and sound this week @Catsandbooks , and yours has shipped via FedEx for Saturday delivery. I had it in my head that tomorrow is opening day, which doesn‘t surprise me cuz I‘ve been behind all month. I woke up thinking it was still June! I‘ll wait until you get yours to open mine! #sliceofsummer

So the summer memories/what summer means to you challenge was kind of hard because Summer for me has historically not been a good time 😅 I‘d like to try and change that because it‘s probably my son‘s favorite season. Some of these are really old my kid is 11 now 😂 This is what a summer search on my phone turned up. #SummerHeat
