#marchintoreading day 17: #irishauthors
I have to admit I haven't really read many contemporary Irish writers. Another post will soon follow with a list of books I'd like to read.
Flight is probably the most recent book I read by an Irish author. I loved how it discussed belonging and citizenship - one of its characters is a woman from Zimbabwe and it is set in 2004 as a referendum on citizenship approaches. (Reusing an old photo! Oops)
