Book 4 in the Agatha Raisin series (#SeriesLive2024) was another hoot. Agatha is up to her old antics again, but there is substantial movement in her relationship with James. On to the next…

Listening to this was like watching a sitcom. I always find myself laughing at the things Agatha does. I know when I read one of the Agatha Raisin books, I am going to come away feeling better. The Walkers of Dembley is a group that gets together and wonder around in nature. One of the walkers is found dead in a field of a person that doesn't want them on his land. But, did he really do it?

Agatha Raisin is on the case again, this time with ramblers who have loudly voiced opinions on right-of-ways and land ownership. Agatha continues to use her cantankerous ways to get the clues and connect the dots to find the murderer. Another fun listen! #192025 #1995

Ooh, I love how this set up the next book!! I‘m so enjoying the series - Agatha is such fun and I like how outrageous the supporting characters all end up being. If we had more time with our regular characters, this would definitely be my favourite to-date, given the ending.

Book 2/5 for #MarvellousMarch
1/2 of my #SeriesLove2023 books for #MarchMadness

Andrew65 These always have me laughing out loud at some point. 👏👏👏 2y
janeycanuck @Andrew65 Oh, there was a scene in this one where Agatha goes off on James for having a drink with a young woman and I nearly fell over laughing! 2y
Andrew65 @janeycanuck So many laugh out loud moments in these. 2y

KathyWheeler Very hard decision; one I think about a lot as I‘m in my later years. 😄 3y
truthinfiction Miss Marple solves the mysteries kn the English countryside but which books are the other two referring to? 3y
Bette @truthinfiction Baba Yaga lives in the woods in a hut that has chicken legs…it paces when she flies away so no one can get in. Not sure if that‘s what this refers to. 3y

Finished this one yesterday also for #20in4

I haven‘t had the energy for audiobooks lately, but I‘m trying to get back into listening with shorter stories. This was a good one to listen to. I listened to it in a day. This is a fun cozy mystery series.

I swear I did get up from this spot today 😂. Finished the 4th Agatha Raisin with my other sleepy reading buddy in tow 😻 #catsoflitsy. This was just a so so read for me. The ending seemed very abrupt and we get it: Agatha has an estranged husband haha

#BookSpin complete! ✅

Delightfully fun following Agatha and James solve another murder. I‘m addicted to the audio books and can‘t wait to start another.

Book 4 in the Agatha Raisin series is just okay, but it gets an extra star from me for the ending. I don‘t want to give away spoilers! I‘m so happy these are available on Audible Plus. 4⭐️

Day 2 results for #24B4Monday readathon! @Andrew65

I finished the 4th Agatha Raisin book, and made a lot of progress on Bloom's upcoming book (which is very funny).

The Hubs and I are taking a few day trips to celebrate 18 years of wedded bliss, so I doubt I'll reach 24 hours. Yesterday we took a ferry boat to Jamestown and then drove to Williamsburg for a bit. Not sure where today will take us, he likes to surprise me!

Moonprismpower I love the cover of Bloom‘s book. Reminds me of 1990s teen fiction book covers like the babysitters club. I‘m hoping to get it through the library! 4y
Andrew65 Well done, enjoy your day and congratulations 👏👏👏🥳 4y

Agatha Raisin is a great female character who always gets to the bottom of the mystery.

I‘m still enjoying the Agatha Raisin series but boy did she make the most ridiculous life choice at the end of this book! I don‘t want to spoil it, but I don‘t believe a successful, smart woman would be that silly. I listened to the audiobook and I love the narrator! #CozyintheSun

Librarybelle I seem to recall the life choice from when I read this one years ago...yeah, definitely silly! 5y
ferskner Ughhhh it drives me nuts when characters make dumb decisions! 5y

I finished book three and jumped right to book 4. The narrator has the best snooty voice for Agatha! #CozyintheSun

There's a lot of anger and turmoil over a group of people ramblers that claim the countryside as their own, but when a murder happens, there are many suspicions as to whether the land owner was behind it...

Another brilliant read! ☺

Knitting class at the library was unexpectedly cancelled yesterday. So, I took to YouTube to learn some additional beginner stitches, and decided to move on from just practice swatches. Currently knitting my very first project- a dishcloth- while Agatha Raisin keeps me company! 😊

Samplergal It looks wonderful. When I was knitting, I made them for the homeless. Put them in a big ziplock with soap, water, toothpaste, toothbrush and some granola bars. This reminds me I should start to knit these again. 7y
Kaye Very pretty. What‘s the stitch called ? 7y
DanaManiac @Samplergal Thanks! That‘s a wonderful idea- today I saw a donation box in AC Moore for knitted items and was thinking that would be fun to do. 7y

DanaManiac @Kaye Thank you! The blogger didn‘t say the name, but it‘s: knit 2, purl 2 for Rows 1 &2. purl 2, knit 2 for Rows 3&4. Repeat that through row 40, then knit 2, purl 2 for Rows 41 & 42. purl 2, knit 2 for row 43 and bind off in purl 2, knit 2. (edited) 7y
