Loved this short novella!
#inDeath 7.5
A short novela for our #IndeathLongReadathon. It was good and followed the previous novel right in the timeline of Christmas. #SeriesLove24 #ReadAway24. @Andrew65 @TheSpineView @DieAReader @GHABI4ROSES @StayCurious
#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR This was a good addition to the series even though it was quick. I enjoyed Eve going up against someone she knew instead of the unsub. It definitely made this case more personal. And more so when Mira was taken. I do think the climax was a bit abrupt though, after such an intense build up. And onto the next! Thanks for sticking with us🖤
Look who managed to finish another book. (We won‘t talk about how it was only 3 hours.)

I love that this one picks up immediately following the previous book—murder takes no time off for the holidays. Robb packs so much into this shortened story. Great story! And, the bad guy is pretty twisted. #InDeathLongReadalong
#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Ch.1-5: Immediately on the heels of our last case, during what was supposed to be a well deserved holiday for the team, Eve is called to the scene of a murder of a judge she knew and had worked with. The poor man was brutally tortured and killed and there‘s a list of others the killer is targeting. And Eve and Dr. Mira are on the list. ⬇️
#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Our next read is the novella Midnight in death. I found it in a copy of Three in Death that carries three of the novellas, and it‘s also in a story collection called Silent Night I think. There are only 10 chapters so we‘ll read it over a span of 2 weeks. All are welcome to join!
#7.5 in the series. Fast paced thriller. You know from the beginning who the murderer is so it‘s all about outwitting him to catch him. Takes place immediately following #7 (as in the very next day).

This one was really good. More thriller than mystery, but I enjoyed it a lot. Takes place over Christmas.

My first time bail, for a 90 page book. 😝 I have read a few in the In Death series. As a small book with a Christmas Day setting, following a tortuous serial killer; mom and I could reasonably seek a cozier mystery.
I rescued this little book from the 'going to thrift' box. I picked it up long ago for my mom. She does read the In Death books, but hadn't gotten into this one 🤔 perhaps as a brutal murder mystery during Christmas. I'll give this quick-read a look for thoughts, plus catching up to making my Goodreads goal.
Loved it ❤️
A quick In Death novella, obviously not as detailed as a full length book and the investigation felt a little rushed. Overall a good story though.
On Chapter 5 of this novella in the In Death series. It's a little lighter on the details, but definitely a quick read so far.
