Spending a long weekend in Denver with a friend who recently moved here. When he asked me what I wanted to do all I said was Tattered Cover. We went to two locations yesterday and I was good but still HAD to buy something.

🦊1. I'm pretty easy, I'm happy with Barnes and Noble, but it's been forever since I've visited Tattered Cover the independent book store Colorado is famous for. I haven't been in since its under new ownership.
🦝2. I don't, but maybe I should. It might help reign me in, lol! I really just love to browse and look at ALL the books. 📚
Always love coming home to the first #bookstore I fell in love with! While it may be in a new location, it was as wonderful as ever! And if you look closely, you can see my sister @Ireadkidlit in the blue checking out! #travelingreader #shopindie
My friend said there is weird weather in Denver, 93f then 39f and snow?!?!
When life is overly stressful and the world seems to be falling apart around us, books are what help many of us to get us through dark times. I just wrote a new post on my blog about my local indie Tattered Cover and the necessity of indie bookstores and how we can help support them. Go check it out if you‘re looking for ways to help. https://readingstewardess.wordpress.com/2020/03/18/oh-how-i-love-my-independent-... #ShopBookstoresNow
I love this bookstore. Great selection, and mostly books not toys.
