Agatha Raisin is coming to terms with a lackluster love life and just so happens to stumble across a body. She goes undercover to try and find the killer. A new character is introduced…it‘ll be interesting to see how things progress. Another good, quick listen.

It seems that each Agatha book is around 4 hrs long on Audible. They‘ve also been free so far with my Prime membership. This makes them great for my commute to and from work, which is usually around 2 hrs each way! This one was great!

I loved how the body was found in this book. It was rather realistic in my mind and i could picture it very vividly as if it was really there! The description in some of the writing is very detailed and it really does draw you in and make you want to read more!
M.C Beaton is fantastic!

I enjoy these quick, cozy mysteries. Agatha Raisin is a deeply flawed detective, but I enjoy spending time with her and her village. This mystery was fun and engaging.

Mehso-so

This was an enjoyable enough book in the series, but far from my favourite one. Felt more needed to happen and lacking some of the subtle humour of some other books in the series. Gave it 3.5 stars out of five. Still intend continuing the series, but do space these out.

Lmstraubie Your reviews are so helpful ☺ 8y
Andrew65 @Lmstraubie Thanks, just tend to put down whatever comes to me when I go to post and how I feel about a book after the reading experience. I am always conscious different people will feel differently about books, quite rightly as we are not all the same - that would be boring! 😊 8y

Just about to start a new physical book, Agatha Raisin and the Day the Floods Came (book 12 in the Agatha Raisin Series). This is a light cozy mystery series, the main character isn't the most likeable and she does do some stupid things, but she does kind of grow on you and her actions lead to humorous incidents.
