His family is suffering and he is feeling worse and worse. Then he is given the gift to travel through “time/dimension” to learn 7 things that can make his life better. A book about a man who struggles to see the purpose of his life, is given a second chance by meeting 7 people from the past, and learns valuable lessons. Some good takeaways and important lessons but not my favorite plot line.

The principles are solid. But the book is written in a novel style that does not interest me. To me, it distracted from the main points that the book was trying to get across.
Here are the 7 Decisions:
1) The buck stops here. I am responsible for my past & future.
2) I'll seek wisdom. Be a servant to others.
3) I'm a person of action.
4) I have a decided heart. A future w/a vision.
5) Choose to be happy.
6) Be forgiving.
7) Persist w/o exception.

Neat look into the past, but a little cheesy/fluffy for how deep it could go

I'm heading off to England and Scotland for 3 weeks for work. It's the longest trip I've taken by myself and it's also the first time I'm flying by myself abroad... I packed 6 books in the suitcases plus 2 in my carry on , this doesn't count my ebooks and audio books . I was afraid of having separation anxiety. Do you travel with physical books? #businesstravels #bookaddictproblems #europebound

catebutler I always travel with at least one or two physical books. But do rely on ebooks and my iPad the most for when I travel. That way I can buy all the books whilst on my travels. 📚 7y
Karkar For me depends on how long I am going to be gone. If over 5 days I take my Nook, less I bring physical books. 7y
GatheringBooks i am terrible, usually. i bring around five or six books for a week/long trip. hehehe. 7y
Cinfhen Safe travels ✈️yes; always have lots of options❣️❣️❣️ 7y

PagesOfKate Bring on Easter! I'm proficient in parcel unwrapping, not so much with wrapping, so I'm sure I'll best the sellotape in no time. @kaysworld1 7y
kaysworld1 @PagesOfKate I do hope you like everything in it. Oh by the way you have a dog what's its name? 🐶💝 7y
PagesOfKate I'm sure it'll all be eggcellent! Fingers crossed I've chosen well for you too. Yep, I have one plump pug. He's called Peasbody. @kaysworld1 7y

PagesOfKate Thanks so much, that's super generous of you. 💖 @kaysworld1 He's an incredibly picky beast when it comes to food so it's probably for the best you didn't get any edibles, I'd hate it to go to waste. 7y

My new kindle case came in the mail today! My kindle is charged and ready for a vacation! I still have a couple weeks to wait though 🙄

BookMaven407 I'm also on the count down for vacation. I think that may be why I had an extra case of the Monday blues. 7y

Hubby had been bringing me back pens from his travels. Now that I have tons of pens, I challenged him to bring me bookmarks. He found one in Romania but wasn't as lucky in Italy, so I got cozy socks. He did good!

Creative and inspiring, this book is written with the shape and movement of a novel, yet pulled together as a "how to" book on personal success. The style is a little campy, and a little preachy at times, but it works. The author tells the story simply, engagingly, mixing history and advice. I recommend it especially for teenagers and young adults, but everyone can benefit from this encouraging book.
