The calm before the storm...I lived in the quiet stillness. I felt the wind rustle, warning me, telling me to get out of its path. But I didn't.I never stood a chance.A series of weather and road mishaps leaves me trapped in the middle of a blizzard with a complete stranger. In the back of a pickup truck. For forty-eight freakin' hours.A stranger with long hair, tattoos, and rippling with muscle. A stranger with an insanely sexy voice and a wicked smile that turned my insides to jelly. A stranger who held me in his arms, calmed me, and then set a fire in me that I couldn't put out.Storm lives up to his name. Beautiful. Dangerously inviting. Tumultuous. Dark. A clash of hot and cold. He's used to getting everything he wants. And now he wants me.Some people chase storms for the beautiful thrill. What happens when the storm chases you?

Happy Tuesday! Here are today's #Two4Tuesday questions. Everyone is welcome to play. Many thanks to those who played last week.

1️⃣ Vivian, I have loved this name for a long time.
2️⃣ The musical family in this series all had unique names. However, I particularly liked Storm.

I got hooked on Carian Cole when I read the Ashes and Embers series. Tagged the first book. I have gone on to read her other books. I especially liked Don't Kiss the Bride.

Happy Tuesday! Here are the #Two4Tuesday questions today. Everyone is welcome to play along!

I am going to answer question #2 first and tell you what prompted these questions. In the tag book, one of the characters states there should have been a "Wife 101" instead of Algebra in high school because he never used Algebra but sure need the other. Funny dialog, but it got me to thinking. Everyone should know how to make a budget, balance a checkbook

TheSpineView Check the oil and tire pressure in a car, sew a button on a shirt, etc. Do they still teach the Dewey Decimal system or how to properly alphabetize files? Thought this would be an interesting prompt. Have a great day! @Eggs @dabbe @The_Penniless_Author @RamsFan1963 @peaKnit @BookmarkTavern @IndoorDame @TieDyeDude @Ruthiella 7mo

This is the first book in the Ashes & Embers series. I started in the middle of the series so it is actually the 3rd book I read. I liked this one too but it is not my favorite. I was not totally liking Evelyn. I don't want to include any spoilers but if you read this one you will understand. 3.5ish ⭐️

Overall this is a okay book. However the judgy attitude of Evie got old after awhile. And the fact that for the entire book she finds herself still with her old boyfriend of 12 years while falling in love with Storm was annoying. And yet there was something there with Storm that kept me engaged.

This was a great rockstar romance - deeper than you would think and it really gripped me emotionally. Okay, the book cover didn‘t hurt either. Read my full review at https://www.theupstairslibrary.com/book-reviews

CocoReads Oof, that‘s a great cover. I‘ll have to get to this one sooner rather than later. 😍😍 4y

There are not enough words to tell how much Storm won my heart. He is kind sweet romantic. Never gives up on what he wants. I want him to be my husband!!!
