Welcome! Whether you have arrived in Oz by Tornado, Rainbow, Magic Carpet, or the Nome King‘s tunnels, I am so excited to spend the next year exploring the marvelous land of Oz with you all.
We‘ve got a year before Wicked: Part Two comes out, so I‘ve doubled up June & July for the books.
I look forward to seeing all of your thoughts! 💚

Okay, okay. I really loved seeing Wicked: Part One last night, and I woke up with an idea.
Would anyone be interested in a #BuddyRead of the original 14 Oz novels starting in December and going through until Wicked: Part Two comes out next year?
The books are all in the public domain, so should be available on Project Gutenberg, Amazon has an omnibus Kindle edition for $1.49, and ThriftBooks has many inexpensive editions available.
This story is great for children to learn the lesson that teamwork can make any task the seems impossible much easier to complete
This story follows Dorothy a small town girl who gets sucked into a magical world and needs to find Oz to get back home where she belongs. On her journey she finds the tin man, the cowardly lion, and a scarecrow who help her navigate her journey to Oz.
Somehow I“ve never read this before and I really loved it. Will definitely be seeking out the rest of the series.
Obsessed with this illustrated copy I just found at the thrift store!😍
Lions and tigers and bears and an episode about The Wonderful Wizard of Oz... oh my! On today‘s episode of my podcast, I‘m joined by the wonderful hosts of Down the Yellow Brick Pod for a discussion about the 1900 children‘s book that inspired the classic movie that so many of us know and love. We unpack our personal experiences, discuss the author‘s racist history, and more! 💚 Link to listen in bio!
