Over the last few years, the band The Foo Fighters has jumped to near the top of my favorite bands. I adore lyrics that have layers of meaning, and their songs are just a good example. My favorite: Pretender. Plus, Dave Grohl harkens back to Nirvana, so that‘s a win. I still plan to read this one in 2019, as it fulfills some challenges, and it‘s a perfect fit for #NFNov . It‘s on the older side (pub date in this edition is 2011). #Music #Movember
1. I don‘t really have a favorite...the tagged is the only one I think I own.
2. Foo Fighters and Maroon 5
3. Oh gosh. The Foo at the DCU years ago and probably Maroon 5 at the DCU two years ago (can‘t wait to see them again in October) NKOTBSB was pretty amazing though.
4. 🤔 I usually just listen to an album on repeat or a playlist.

This is actually an unauthorized biography which reads more like a history of the American Punk/Grunge/Alternate music scene which comes together nicely to form a rather complex band family tree which facts, quotes and snippets of Grohl's life injected into the narrative. A must read for music fans 🎵🥁🎸🎤🤘

Saw The Foo Fighters this week, wow. Perhaps the best concert ever.
Just now realizing that I‘ve been singing All My Life wrong for years. 🎸 🎤 my rockstar husband wouldn‘t be happy.

#SmellsLikeTeenSpirit #JuneTunz Nirvana is one of my all time favourite bands, and these are the Nirvana books I've collected so far!
3/5⭐️ Not the best biography I've read, but it was still fun to learn more about one of my favourite musicians. Read in September 2015
This book is a history of punk and a biography of a man and a survey of his bands. Well worth your time.
