Arden‘s parents have created a technology that interfaces with the brain, storing memories. But then it becomes clear some of Arden‘s memories are gone from both her brain and the platform. Such a fascinating premise, but this was not well executed. The surprises are few, there are plot holes you can drive a truck through, and by the time the “big” reveal happened at the end, I no longer cared. #botmbacklist
I really enjoyed this quick read! I really wish a few plot points would have been fleshed out a little better but overall, a really fun, interesting and engaging story. I would definitely recommend.
Onto the next! I'm a huge slut for both YA and Scifi and this quick read seems to fit the bill perfectly. 😊
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The writing in this book is good and could have been better, but the story had me so hooked that I wanted to know more. I was so fascinated by the hivemind and how everything in this world worked. How Arden was tracking the person even though her memories where being erased. This book also had another aspect in it I loved and it deals with the second half so I won‘t give anything away. Essentially it was around whether or not we play god.
I‘m also starting my next #botm book I ordered in August: Mind Games by Shana Silver! The premise of invading someone memories and living them yourself, along with a deeper plot just sounded intriguing!
