Bookworm54 I thought this was a great book but I don‘t want to include too many spoilers! Lots of standard vampire tropes, but some interesting takes on things and the research facility was interesting. I thought the idea was super intriguing. And I also liked the unconventional love interest :) Jillian was okay to start with, but she became much more relatable throughout ☺️ 4y

I really liked this one!
The story was interesting, and I liked the main characters and the idea of parachemistry.

When I was looking at reviews, there was some hate for the love interest Declan, but I thought he was great! (He reminded me of Sigrid from the Divine Cities that I have a bit of a crush on haha).

Not really any shapeshifting, so I am going to read one of the other picks too!

I‘m towards the end of the book now, and have reached a twisty bit! It wasn‘t exactly a surprise when it happened, but I‘m not sure of the motivations yet!

Starting my #PLC book for the month!

We are trying something new recently where each of our admin select a book, and we each choose one of those picks to read. Means there is quite a lot of choice ☺️
