Ugh! I had to cave. I tried. I really tried to be good and wait for library copies, but I am a weak bibliophile. 🥺 @AardvarkBookClub really chose some great titles this month! #aardvark And these covers 😍😍

Published in 2005 this nonfiction animal alphabet book is informative and helpful to students. I really like the illustrations that go along with it too.
1) I‘ve already completed the #BBRC #beyonddickandjane section
2) the #A-z
3) the #yeah-baby prompts any of those
4) the #middlegrade #newclassic (writtenafter1980)
5) the discovery of witches (not a movie but I really liked the mini-series/ Dune 🥰😍📖😋 🎥
6) I don‘t know 🤷♀️ I‘ve liked both interpretations 😖

Each page features words or phrases where the letters of the alphabet “double up.”
Aa is for aardvark by Mark Shulman is a nonfictional book that was written in 2005. This book is about double letter words. This book uses fun sounds and witty images that will help students. The concepts are reinforced with the illustrations. The kids who understand some of the jokes will be learning or have learned the alphabet.
This is a great book for students to learn words that have a repeated double letter! It can help the students not only learn words but how to pronounce them and their meaning!
Nonfiction Published in 2005
This book is similar to books that are “A is for ___” but instead it is “Aa is for ____”. I find it really interesting and helpful for students to learn double letter words!
This would be a great book to read to children when introducing or teaching double letter sounds in words and what they look like.
Genre: nonfiction
I loved this book and how illustrative it is. Every page has so many great representations for each double letter in the words presented and the pages are very eye-catching.
A very cute informational book about doubling letters in words. I also like how the book uses multiple words that have the double letters. Many of these words are familiar to children.
This book teaches the kid about the alphabet through double letters in words instead of the first letter of the word. It's funny and sort of comic book like.
