I particularly liked the poems Giraffe, Dachshund, and Weeping Willow.

This is a great poetry books for kids. These poems have a visual component to them and can be fun for kids to look at. It‘s a good introduction into poetry and sometimes the poems are drawn on pictures to explain the meaning.

I think children would love this book because it has different aspects that many other books don‘t have. It will also keep children entertained because each page includes a different “story line”.

I love the illustrations in this book and how to author places the text in an interesting and unpredictable way. You really have to look at the words in a different way to read the words.

Such a cute P read! Each poem is written where the words form the illustration about the topic of the poem! Children would love to look through the pages and see the neat imagery, but this is definitely a RA! The reading level is higher than the actual book itself, which is why it would be a good RA. #LAE3414sp19

I really like the way the words make up the pictures.

Doodle Dandies is an interesting poetry book. The words make up part of the pictures. I think children will enjoy reading this because it is different.

Each page is extremely unique which will catch the readers attention every time.
