I‘m back to finishing the Famous Five series after a break reading non-fiction. Lots of FF bingo squares to be had so far, although I am disappointed that the Five don‘t have the chance to go into raptures over a heathery bed as yet.
The bath bomb pictured in action is Lush‘s Temple of the Sky, which smelled and looked fantastic. I‘d really like to use this one again 🛀 🧼 🛁 🧽 💣 💧
I know it‘s already a few hours into the #ThrowbackReadathon (it‘s 5am Friday here) but I got distracted binge-watching Strike Back on Foxtel. My first book is a #FamousFive mystery by Enid Blyton. A classic English children‘s author, she was a decade & change before my time but my aunt kept me supplied with books which were my much older cousins first. No complaints, I loved them all! This is my school photo from when I was in 2nd grade (age 7)
#augustofpages #augustphotochallenge #day18 #usedbooks Pt2 of my 2ndhand books is this small collection of Enid Blyton & Wind In The Willows. The hubby & I were on our way to the Hunter Valley last Easter Sunday when we came across a church jumble sale on the side of the road in a small town near Pokolbin. Along with china & crystal, there was four boxes of old books. I would've loved to buy more, $1 each, but we were in a hurry.
