This was a super cute graphic novel about two childhood best friends/crushes who reunite and have to save their adorably autumnal New England town from a demon in the woods. The witchiness is soft and lovely, as is the artwork and Nova and Tam's relationship. There's also fabulous diversity representation going on here - both MCs are Chinese-American, Nova wears hearing aids, Tam is non-binary, and Nova's grandmothers are couple goals for sure.

This YA romantic fantasy graphic novel is what 2019 needs! Hard of hearing teen witch Nova works for her grandmothers at their magic rare bookshop. One night, she finds her childhood crush, the non-binary werewolf Tam, has returned to town pursued by dark magical forces. Nova and Tam find themselves up against challenges both within and without, but with their love and the support of their community, they have the power to prevail. So lovely!

This is such a delightfully sweet graphic novel featuring a Chinese-American hard-of-hearing witch and her Chinese-American non-binary werewolf best friend turned partner and a whole bunch of magic and sorcery and just.. queer witchy stuff. The art is so pretty, the story is sweet (so many fuzzy feels, ah) and just everything that brings me joy and happiness.

This graphic novel is so cute and fun to read. The main protagonist is named Nova who is a witch and lives with her two grandmothers. Nova discovers her friend Tam is back in town and they find themselves trying to defeat a demon.

Things I love is that the two main characters are Chinese American
Nova is hard of hearing and Tam is non-binary. Also the grandmothers are in a relationship together. I liked the pictures and the story is cute.

An absolutely adorable supernatural graphic novel featuring a Hard of Hearing queer witch and an enby werewolf trying to get rid of a demonic spirit haunting the woods. Lovely illustrations and a really sweet story about magic and learning to trust yourself.

Don't mind if I do read an e-arc of this comic I've been wanting to get my hands on over dinner
